I have worked on a collaborative grant proposal using Google Docs. It was functional, but I didn't feel as comfortable with the interface and the complexities of a lengthy document as I do with Word. Probably just a learning curve that I have not been willing to go around yet... I think this may have some applicability to parts of what I work on though.
Addition: I just posted to this blog with Google Docs. Now that is useful.

del.ico.us and library thing
I have been saving things to del.ico.us for quite a while...the things I have saved are all over the map. I have tagged a number of items UKBlue2.0 and have added some items that I found while doing this assignment this evening. I had never used the network function and am glad to know about that. I have a feed for my del.ico.us items on my netvibes page. Very handy.
Pretty much ditto for Library Thing. Long time user, just not in a network, which I am happy to know about.

Newsreader
I have had a Bloglines account for along time, but I have migrated to Netvibes and have been using that for a while now. I like it better because I see the top X headlines (you get to set the number), you can add other widgets, it is tabbed and is VERY flexible.
Wiki exercise
We have been using a wiki in Preservation and Digital Programs for a couple of years now. We use it for EVERYTHING. I was happy to be able to set one up, though. I am affiliated with Kentucky Ecuador Partners, so used the opportunity to set up a wiki for that group. So far so good. The address is: http://kypartners.pbwiki.com/
It will take a lot of time to get content on this, so I will do that later from home.

Separate Blue 2.0 Blog
I decided to keep my Blue 2.0 stuff separate from my real blog. This will be the place for the assignments to reside.
My real, main blog is My Back Pages.
